Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always loved trying something new - it's hard to come up with something better than travel for this - new places, new stories, new cultural characteristics, and new people.
While I (unlike my wife ;)) like museums and historical sites, I would also be very interested to get to know more closely the everyday life of the place I visit, get to know the locals, learn something new from them. Of course, Couchsurfing is perfect for this.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: funk, classic rock, but in general in my playlist you can find almost all genres.
Movies: it is difficult to single out one thing, I like a lot, from Dollars Trilogy to The Grand Budapest to something like Scary Movie.
Books: I like science pop and science fiction more, but I read different things - for example, at school we exchanged with my classmate Chuck Palahniuk and Pelevin. My favorite literary character is Josef Schweik.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried to play in the theatrical performance once, even went to rehearsals regularly :)
Drove thousands of kilometers across the desert, meeting locals.
I haven't traveled much yet, so all the amazing things are yet to come!
