Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Pavel and {place for a good joke}.
In the childhood I was a professional sportsman (in chess) and my ma was proud of me. But then I grow up.
And now I'm just a boring software developer trying to escape from burnout. I like extreme sports (but not very good at), board games, driving and good beer (not at the same time).
I'm always open for new adventures, and my friends suffer from it, cause they have to join me.
Impassioned with sharing knowledge. In summer I take part in children camp and teach them chess (and do almost all other camp things. Why can't grown ups make a fire with paper, woods, lighter and even gasoline? :))
Enjoy anything related to water. Aquapark, spa, swimming pool, sea, wakepark, river... But bad at swimming, so my gf always jokes on me. Cause even her grandma after a stroke floats on water better than me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet new people. I understood how cool it is after I came to a local pub in Budapest and found courage to talk to a waiter which turned to a great evening . He even left me a hand-written list of places where I should definitely go.
Since that moment I always try to make new acquaintance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to listen heavy music (SOAD, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Hammerfall...). But than I meet my gf and now most of my playlist is indy cause I use her music app account. It was a mistake (or no, who knows).
As for movies, I like fantasy, thrillers and Agatha Christie adaptations. But honestly, I will appreciate any good movie.
Books... Tons of technical specifications killed the child who loved reading inside me. Wish I could resurrect him one day
