About Me

From 12th feb to 3rd march we are on vacation, so no hosting until March

We are a married couple from Riga ;) We have two kids, but when we use couchsurfing, we don't take kids with us. We are devoted parents, love our kids, and we do travel with kids a lot, just not everycouchsurfer is ready for it +) But soon there will be days, when we can take them along on some more adventurous journeys.

We are very open minded, curious and love a good chat with new people. And we always glad to take you to our home, and share everything with you aswell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've registered on couchsurfing long time ago, met some VERY insteresting people with who i had several great exprieinces in different countries, but since then i forgot about it, and now i fell, that time has come to dig deeper and find some new people, places, emotions.

Interests

We are very active couple - mountain skying, kitesurfing, biking, skating, traveling, hiking, trekking, hiking on bikes and what not. this summer we had a new passion - Electric unicycles - these things are amazing, and have great future for active people like us

Music, Movies, and Books

Nostalghia by Tarkovsky (good movie for people who travel a lot)

Books... there are a lot. All Dostoevsky is amaizing

Music - it changes rapidly

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went with absolutely unprepared Italian couple(that i met on couchsurfing) in their 50s and their underage son on the ride on self assembled kayaks in Russia, got stuck with them in some wildest place in Karelia, Russia ( deep forest, no chance to meet someone, no mobile networks available, really wild places). All that in the worst weather possible, average temp under 10 deg. Celcius, rain pouring for a week, closer to the end they had no dry thing at all. But i got them out safely, and they had one great experience to remember +)

Teach, Learn, Share

Glad to learn anything, can teach you any stuff i know . Just ask me .

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some stories, with some pictures, any food i have, some new experiences if you wish to participate :)

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Italy, Latvia, Russian Federation, United States
