I am currently living in Tábor, Czech Republic.
I have a bachelor in Japanese Studies and Japan, Japanese language and culture are still one of my biggest hobbies. I did my master's in Asia-Pacific Studies in Taiwan and I love travelling.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Before I moved to Taiwan I spend every summer holiday travelling around Europe but not as a tourist but in a way that would allow me to connect with locals. I worked as au-pair two summers which gave me a unique insight into how important is to get to know places from a perspective of people who actually live there.
This is why I want to participate in Couchsurfing. When I visit some place, of course, I want to see some landmarks but I also want to experience how people actually live there, even if it's just for few days.

I really enjoy traveling and I love Asia and its culture - Japan in particular. Since I studied about Japan for 5 years,
I am also a big fan of history so I love to visit historical monuments and museums - which probably makes me sound like a really really weird person. :D

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music is a big part of my life and it has a special place in my heart. Although I have some favorite songs and interprets, I don't have any preferred genre. I just like to say that I am a fan of good music. :)
I am a huuuuuge Harry Potter fan! Outside of that, I like sci-fi, fantasy and horror movies and books in general and if it has some historical elements in it, even better. There is nothing as good as a really good ghost story before a good night's sleep. :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Coming to finish my studies in Taiwan. Amazing experience from which I know I am going to benefit for the rest of my life.

I would love to share anything about my country, places that I visited and I will be very happy if you could share that with me too. :) I also love cooking so if you want to try some Czech food, we can try to prepare some!
One of my biggest hobbies is to learn different languages, although I am very shy when it comes to using them. So I am more than opened to any language exchange. :)
