ABOUT ME

I'm 28, born and raised in Seattle, USA, liberal arts graduate. I quit my job at the beginning of this year to travel around the world! I've been to about 20 countries this year alone, and it was the best decision I've ever made. Back home, I work as a chef de cuisine and kitchen manager.

I tend to be a quieter traveller, not a big partier, though I certainly have a good time going out with the right people. But mostly I'll always prefer a beer at a nice pub rather than going out to crazy clubs. I really love seeing cultural sites sprinkled in with the occasional adventure sport.

I'm on couchsurfing because I really love getting a local perspective of a place. Hostels are fun, but you only meet other international people, couchsurfing really lets you feel like you're living in a new place. You end up seeing places that you'd never see staying at a hostel.

兴趣

I tend to go through periods of intense obsession over new things before letting them fade into the background, but the ones that have stuck most firmly are interests in film and tv, video games, generally geeky things of that nature. I also love dancing and cooking, though since I've started getting paid for the latter, haven't done nearly as much cooking on my own . Recently took up rock climbing and really love it, I think it'll stick.
