I want to see as many places as possible, and meet new people along the way. I want to try to understand the place, and feel like I can see it without judgment,, and then I want to write about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had really great times surfing in Liberia and Morocco, and hosted as well. I feel really lucky to have been able to meet many of the people I did.

Interests

Running, reading, writing, finding excellent movies, teaching (!), interviewing/writing/interviewing/repeat, asking questions, sharing meals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies! I watch as many as I can. I read, but not as often as I should. Right now, I'm on a big Cormac McCarthy kick. Music falls into the same category as movies; I have a huge so-cal bias.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I coach a track team in Oakland. It amazes me every single day.
