ABOUT ME

Well lets see...we both like music..Linda recently joined a band called called speck mountain and patrick plays drums in a james brown cover band called Get up with the get downs...i'll put links down below..Both of us are the kind of people who would prefer to go to dive bar as opposed to a night club...both of us are total information junkies, into political science, and own a cat. Patrick works part time as a dog walker (how cool is that, i get paid to walk dogs!) and Linda is a Barista..both of us are avid bikers, a bike has been my main form of transportation for years now.We both love Chicago and its a wonderful place to live.. Hopefully we can share that with other people

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past we've lived at places where our friends and roommates have used couch surfing to host..this is the first time we've had our own profile to use..looking to get involved more as time goes on

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last summer we had some Welsh boys on a cross-USA tour stay with us for a week during the peak of Chi-town summer fun season. We took them on a whirlwind tour of everywhere cool in Chicago from beaches to concerts to our friends house parties. This first couch surfer experience makes us ready for much more this summer. Come stay with us!

Interesses

HUGE MUSIC NERDS..all kinds..We both particularly dig Brazilian music(tropicalia,bossa etc..), I play drums and Linda plays keys...Both are big fans of noam chomsky, howard zinn and Linda loves philosophy especially political theory (chantal mouffe, val plumwood, foucault, vaclav havel are some favorites)..Patrick is a dog walker in chicago and loves animals..Both of us live with 3 cats and, uh, they kinda rule
