ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as a friendly, engaging person who is always open to new adventures. I grew up in Small Town, IA and have lived in Chicago for 10 years. So while I might be a Corn Fed Iowa Boy, I also have an open, curious nature to check out the world around me. Since I'm a teacher, I have summers off and would like to catch up on all the awesome traveling I SHOULD have done in my 20s. I love spirited conversations, and think of myself as an interesting character.

I'm a newbie!!! I am looking to get my feet wet with Couchsurfing this summer, however.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my early 20s, a few friends and I took a crazy road trip to New Orleans for Jazzfest. We stayed in a hot, crowded, Victorian house with about umpteen strangers. It was a blast!
