About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world from your couch and host the world on my couch!

ABOUT ME

Hello Fellow Couchsurfers!
My name is Chris and I am an American currently living in the beautiful region of Bavaria, Germany in central Europe.
I am a tall, funny, goofy, synth/elektro loving guy who loves to travel, laugh, dance, and enjoy some delicious beer hopefully paired with local, delicious food! I spent most of my time daydreaming, making jokes, running, taking pictures, wearing costumes (usually when acceptable), brewing beer, talking about beer, listening to music, and enjoying in the small things in life.

Through some amazing friends I have made over the years in part thanks to my experiences with CS I was given the food for thought and motivation to quit my boring go-nowhere desk job and pursue my passions in brewing handcrafted beer and travel. It has been an awesome journey ever since and have never looked back!

I absolutely love to travel, to experience new cultures, to seek out new and exciting places, and to find and create new friendships with new people all around the world. I am a sponteneous and adventurous person that is very down to earth and outgoing. I have an open mind and love conversations especially with those from other walks of life and other cultures. I am a clean and curteous person and will care for your home as I do mine with the best love and respect. I have always had some great and very memorable CS experiences filled with laughter, humor, awe, and excitement. I look forward the future memories in store for us!

When packing my travel bag, the first things I pack are my running shoes, my camera, my favorite music & headphones, local craft beer (perferably some of my own!), and other gifts of my cultures. I often like to enter a city and see how far I can manage to explore without the need of a city map. I have found so many wonderful corners of the world stumbling through cities with no plan or focus on seeing just the sites. I also like to go for a run at least once during my stay and experience the city on foot this way as well, you are welcome to join or provide tips on where I should go!

I offer my couch in the city of Würzburg, Germany and a tour of the city and all it has to offer to anyone and everyone that is interested in visiting! I am familiar with the area and can definitely show you a great time during the day or the nightlife of the student town of Herbipolis!

PHILOSOPHY

See as much as I can with the time I'm given!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will do my best to offer what I have to travelers and show them the best time possible in my current city (Würzburg, Bavaria). I hope to be couchsurfing in the very near future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have so far surfed in Chicago, Paris, and Stockholm and had some amazing hosts while I was there!

Since I have hosted quite a few at my flats in Portland, OR USA and Nürnberg, Germany and I have only had great experiences.
I constantly look forward to meeting new and exciting people through surfing and/or hosting!
