About Me

ABOUT ME

My perfect day is waking up to a cup of good coffee and the paper, hop in my car to head up to the mountain for some mid-week skiing, drive home singing, take a hot shower, meet up with more good friends at a local microbrewery to prefunk before we head out to watch a Portland band (possibly the Shins, M ward, Decemberists, Blind Pilot, Modest Mouse...), hit up an amazing happy hour and then crash between freshly starched sheets.

Fortunately for me I get to live my ideal day on a fairly regular basis! If you think it sounds like fun then we'll probably get along pretty well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with the second best couchsurfer in the world many times. Through Ambassador Mancuso I've come to respect the program and meet some pretty cool cats along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

My life has a soundtrack. The first song I ever learned was Jesus Loves Me, my first crush was Vanilla Ice, my first "real" concert was Chicago, the first concert I chose to go to on my own was Kenny G (haha! but really,) my high school years were dominated by teen pop and grunge (ironic i know!), college involved a lot of singer/songwriters...Blind Pilot, M Ward, and Bon Iver currently top my I-pod playlist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doesn't matter when or where, every time I watch a sunrise I think it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn about flowers or art my couch is probably a pretty good place to land! With that said, one of my favorite things to do is be a tourist in my own city to discover new things... new coffee shops, bars, bike routes, etc.
