Moving to Leiden for my Master in International Relations for a year.
Philosophing around quiet often..try to inspire people to travel.
Lived in France, the Netherlands and in Sweden. So basically using every opportunity to combine studies with travel, which worked quite good so far:)
Too many places still left on my list, but in order to be prepared I love to host people from everywhere.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you;
Weep, and you weep alone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met nice people via CS and had a good time with people who hosted me. It takes some courage to invite someone unknown to your own place. But the reward is great. Heard so much ncie stories from people that widened my cultural perspective. It's just great to meet international people.
I like following the news and connect the dots between history and today's events. I will try to focus on geopolitics during my study, because I like the bigger picture.
Playing football with internationals is fun. Once a week I play with students. Always fun to see the different sports mentalities.
Music, Movies, and Books
It's great to discover old music hits from the 50s - 90s. I recently listened to the Doors and the Rolling Stones for the first time and I relaly liked it. Traditionally Im a RnB fan and had a long hiphop phase. Today Im open for the classics but not so much for the electric music that is popular nowadays.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hosting a lot of people in Strasbourg was a great time for me. That's how my cs experience started and I've been active ever since.
