Intending Joyful All Being And Beings
Mobile for more than 5 years. Portable routines include meditating, a little yoga, a little chi gung, jumping rope, and most recently some movement lessons by Anat Baniel.
I enjoy being with people and I enjoy being alone.
I am often fairly intense and serious. I like deep and meaningful exchanges. I can be shy and awkward. I'm slowly becoming lighter and more joyful.
I've been blessed with some consulting opportunities with the U.S. Migrant Education Program, which have helped support my mobile life over the past couple of years. I think I would also like to be a tour guide and a movement educator (see below).
In this grand exploration, experiment, and artform called life, I want to be an instrument of joy. Meditation tunes me.
Movement nurtures simplicity and flexibility. My home is here and now. Love is the answer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been "couchsurfing" continuously for more than 3 years, except when work has put me up in hotels. Love the mobile life!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have enjoyed fantasy, sci-fi, psychology and metaphysical books. I want to read some math books. And I'm dabbling in libros en Español. I like many kinds of music. I like movies that push artistic or philosophical boundaries, like The Matrix, Waking Life, Fight Club, and Big Fish.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been completely amazed by the vast and unique universe which is another human being. I've experienced moments of oneness. I've been asked to perform two marriages. I am amazed to be alive and to have all the gifts and opportunities that I do.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm considering studying movement education techniques based on the work of Moshe Feldenkrais. I would love to be able to offer this to people I stay with.
