About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn about Japanese culture! I wish to explore the food, tea, language, hiking, and so much more! I hope to share my passion for life with all of those I meet throughout my travels.
PHILOSOPHY
Follow your passions.
Find love in a hobby or art that fits your personality. Continue to practice everyday and you'll be rewarded in so many ways.
When faced with a new experience, take it on with an open mind.
Slow down and take a breath. You'll learn a lot.
Learn from those who love to smile.
My favorite lessons in life come from nature.
Running water never grows stale, so you just have to keep on flowing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I heard about couch surfing through a friend and decided to check it out. Ironically, the day after I was thinking about signing up for the site, my friend Alisha asked me if her couch surfing friend Jema could crash at my house; since Alisha's house was already bustling with travelers. Jema came over for dinner and drinks. The next morning I took her on a hike up Bishops Peak - beautiful! On our way down, we ran into Alisha, who was on her way to go rock climbing. Alisha had extra gear, so Jema and I continued our adventure. After lunch, Jema went on with her travels. My new friendship with Jema was a result of couchsurfing, which motivated me to start my own page!
