ABOUT ME

Travelling is my big love in this life. From age 10-or-so I started an exchange of letters with my eldest cousin. Through post cards of a Tokyo in full cherry bloom or an Irish necklace for good fortune she would create a passageway for the world to come through all the way to my post box in the woods of northern Sweden. While I, since then, have learnt to love the serenity of being surrounded by the dense silence of the fir trees that make out my village - I am still just getting started to satisfy the curiousity I felt back then.

I am an avid journaller, ever sarcastic yet kind hearted, coffee drinking 25 year old kid.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've only surfed thrice and also visited a CS event in Singapore. At the moment I live in a beautiful house in Old Aberdeen, right next to the university, with 3 other lovely peeps. We have a spare room available to surfers!

Intereses

Yoga, running, café sitting, cinema, anything involving food, dog watching, forest walks, beach, open mic nights, recently started going to different ceilidhs around the city of Aberdeen

I enjoy most art house cinema flicks, directors like Greta Gerwig, Wes Anderson (Fantastic Mr Fox ought to be my favourite!), Sofia Coppola and of course Quentin Tarantino.

Fleetwood Mac, Newtown Rocksteady, The Beatles, Gorillaz, Dolce, The Tallest Man on Earth, Devendra Banhart, Mando Diao, Joni Mitchell, jj, Deportees, Säkert!, and along those lines.

Algo increíble que he hecho

On a recent solo trip to Taiwan, I crossed this seemingly abandoned garden behind a temple site outside of Hscinchu on the west coast. From geishas and ganeshas to smiling Buddahs, Chinese warriors, tiny dragons, galloping horses, Egyptian phraohs and even a looming statue of liberty replica. There seemed to be no end to the variety of treasures to be found. Walking through this eerie garden all to myself, is one of those experiences I am sure to remember for always.
