ABOUT ME

Me in a 50 word box, I am an American who for the last 27 months has been volunteering in a Moldovan village, in the area of Business and agriculture. I am young, energetic and Persistent. I am a long term optimist. I like to spend time by myself, but I like people, too. I like learning new things, but I don’t like school. I like music, but can’t dance to save my life. I am laidback, and like to laugh. I can’t spell. I can be noisy or quiet, it depends on the people around me.

I live with a host family in Moldova so I can’t host anyone at this time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had heard so many good things I thought I would give CS a try and I was not disappointed. Some of the best memories of my last trips have been CS moments. It has given me an opportunity to meet other people, learn about them and their culture/ideas. I have also gotten some good tours and some tips of the best local beer.

兴趣

I like traveling, seeing new thing, trying new things (especially food). I love learning random useless facts. I am fascinated by history, politics and religion. I like to see how they are woven together to create culture. I also like outdoor activities like rock-climbing and SCUBA diving. I also like photography, I am not saying that I am good at it, but I take a lot of pictures. In the last 2 years I have taken over 6000 pics and when I vacation I average around 45-50 a day.

I listen to rock (Rage against the machine, AC/DC), rap (Kanye West, Timbaland) and 80’s music(Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson) . I like action, comedy and smart drama movies. I hate scary, horror and suspense movies. Over the last year I have been reading a lot of classic America and English books, but I mostly like history and current events. I have been reading a lot of Russian literature as of late. The last 5 books I read are, War and Peace, The Idiot, John Adams, Hitler's Scientists, and Creating a World without Poverty.
