I'm a twenty year old from Melbourne, Australia, and I'm looking to travel around Europe. I'm no good at these things, I was taught it was rude to speak about yourself so I'll just stick to the certainties. I'm an academic failure although I read a hell of a lot and I'm really fond of laughter.

I'll stick to authors here, and to keep it short, the authors I most love: Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Salinger, Steinbeck, Camus, Orwell, Kafka, Lardner, Thurber, O. Henry, Rimbaud.

I'm not a huge film buff, but I'm prone to watching comedies. Bogart films are good, too.

Musically I love: Modest Mouse, Interpol, The Decemberists, Grizzly Bear, J5, Ferraby Lionheart.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I'm to be perfectly honest, I'm happy to learn anything. I don't know so many things in this topsy-turvy world, and I'd love to learn about anything. Ceramics in Medieval France, Knitting in Post-Colonial America. Anything as long as it's taught by somebody who knows and cares about it.
