About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do laundry.

ABOUT ME

I understand that the purpose of this thing is to give people a sense of who the person with whom they will be cohabiting for a brief period of time is; i.e that I'm not an axe murderer, or that I don't play the french horn at irregular and late hours; and I assure you, I am none of those things (at least until I finally learn the trumpet). However, I'm still left with nothing much that I could put into a box on the internet, that could somehow give you an idea of what category of Human Being I fall into. So just give it shot, I guess - after all, isn't that the point of this thing? - and at some point we can sit down with a pot of tea and I can try my best to explain.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that my personal philosophy can not be summed up into a concise statement, or maybe even articulated at all.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had originally written something snarky here, but I deleted it cause I'm over that now

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There was this one time I logged on and created a profile and went on some long and senseless tirade in the "About Me" box.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Nick Drake is a hero. Other Lives and My Bloody Valentine recent infatuations.
Books: David Foster Wallace, Thomas Pynchon and Yukio Mishima are favorite voices.
Movies: Charlie Kaufmann and stuff.

There's lots more though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was this tree once.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to be a bad guitar player - I'm awfully good at that. Also, how to make the raddest smoothie EVER. No joke. In fact, that's my main selling point, forget everything else. As far as learning: Teach Me Anything, please.
