Hey! I'm Ricardo and I'm a masters student in Psychology :)
I'm specializing in cognitive-behavioural therapies (senior student), doing my internship in the sleep medicine center in Coimbra
I'm also doing a research project with over 1000s participants for my thesis about videogame addiction and anxiety, mediated by emotional regulation and psychological (in)flexibility.

Currently working part time in the library at the faculty of economics of the university of Coimbra.

I 💕 travelling and watching the clouds from airplanes, movies and games especially if cosy with friends, reading, libraries on the beach and walks by the sea, nature and birds singing, music, ice cream, cats, philosophy, psychology (and overthinking 😅)
Currently looking for accommodation in Italy for an upcoming trip I'm taking in June for an Erasmus+ project. I will about 3 days (9-11) to visit some places, considering Milano, Bologna and Firenze.

Music: I enjoy many genres but mostly rock and pop music. Some of my most listened to artists on spotify are: thousand foot klutch, ghost, taylor swift, seafret, green day, sting, twenty one pilots, owl city, maisie peters, sleeping at last, infected mushrooms, red, mika and billy joel.

Favorite podcasts: "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"; "Where Should We Begin?"; "The Random Show"

I love movies but it's impossible me for to choose a list of favorites right now. I enjoy most genres although not a huge fan of marvel movies or horror movies. I also really enjoy series (such as The Sopranos, Better Call Saul, GoT, Narcos...) and some anime.

Books: mostly non fiction historical or self dev books, some fiction (not YA) and graphic novels (such as MAUS, Perselopis...)

I can show you are the town as well, and to visit the university library and palace (it's free for me as a student here so it's easire for me to tag along)

There are some cool local board gaming events here in Coimbra, I can show you where and when, people are welcoming and explain the rules in english. They have many simple games for newcomers
