About Me

Philosophy major, wrote a thesis in Literary Theory and currently working on my PhD.

Couch Surfing is a lifestyle for me since I've been spending a lot of time hosting and visiting friends from all parts of the world! I have also had the privilege to live in beautiful São Tomé e Príncipe, Belgium, Germany and now in the US so... I adapt to every circumstance!

I would say I am rather calm and autonomous. I also value generosity quite a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really try as much as I can to make my foreign friends experience the best of what my city has to offer - and it is certainly not Pastéis de Bacalhau com Queijo da Serra. I'll try to do the same for you and hopefully, you will try to do the same for me!

Eventually available to host - just have to coordinate with my flatmates.

Interests

Languages, History, Religion, biking, laying on the beach and Philosophy, of course.
Also interested in Development and Climate issues, especially since I worked in an NGO as an Advocacy Officer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will spare these for when we meet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Mozambique at the last minute to shoot a documentary.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's truth in some clichés, so I’ll just say it: I've been learning with my travels that "happiness is only real when shared".

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can manage to cook Bacalhau if you're interested. I just don't promise it would taste like my mom's.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Mozambique, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Sao Tome and Principe, United States
