What can I say about me? I am a freelance translator from Barcelona, Spain and I love travelling and animals (I have a dog and a cat). I like to meet people from other countries and I like helping people whenever I can. I'm a calm and easy-going person.

I have been living for a couple of years (more or less) in Istanbul, where I got to meet really great people and hopefully lifelong friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A few years ago, I met a Canadian girl in Barcelona who told me she was couchsurfing and the concept itself amazed me. I think it's wonderful to meet new people while you are travelling and this seems like a great way to do it.

I have never used Couchsurfing so far to host someone or be hosted, but I'll be travelling to Japan in a couple of weeks and I would like to meet local people there!

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock music, mostly. I love cinema, I usually watch a lot of sci-fi, fantasy and action movies, but if it is a good movie I will enjoy it regardless of the genre. Some of my favorite movies are The Fountain, Amelie, Grand Torino, The Wrestler, Rocky, or my childhood obsession, Star Wars.
