About Me

Never know what to write in this boxes, feel like the best way to meet somebody is through a talk. There you can feel the vibe of someone and possibly develop a relation. I'm never certain on what's relevant about me, but let's try some common sense for starters: I'm a cinema student living in my hometown with a few escapades down the road. Also, I have my Jackyll/Hyde side: my love for cooking has changed from hobbie to part-time profession. By the afternoon I work at a bistrô, learning my way through the misteries of world cuisine. Haha. Well, my routine is based on cinema and University-related activities such as working as a freelancer on editing, writing screenplays, attending to classes and doing research. By the afternoon, comes the cooking bits. That's a beggining...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see couchsurfing as an intelligent way to travel. It's a kind of community that has mutual cooperation as currency. I believe in this kind of "economy" for it brings people together. Its funny to think that way: together we can spend less and live more.

Of corse, as an student, I can't afford expensive stays in hotels, and sometimes even hostels.

Interests

i love: cultures, languages, learning, talking about films and books and music. discovering new music (radiooooo.com is a great experience), drinkin' with friends when the weekend comes (and why not, sometimes, after those harsh work days), exercising creativity, meeting new people and getting surprised by then, great theatre (which is rare, but when it happens, worths all trying), of corse great films, writing when inspiration comes.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many of each... it would take at least an afternoon to try and make a list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? lol

What I Can Share with Hosts

Brazilian Slang and dirty words. Haha. I like cooking to those who host me (not just through this site). I could pay a first beer so we could know each other better -- and understand perhaps better ways to help.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Peru
