HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When im at home i like to offer some couch for travelers, so they can enjoy their journey in a more favorable way (sorry capitalism, mankind first!)

My home is NOT in the city of Rio, it in Niterói, a neighbour city of it. Besides, i live in a part of the city away from the center, wich can be great or not so good.

The good part for staying here is that you can know better the region, instead of following the "normal-touristic" path here(Sugarloaf, christ statue and so on). Beyond that, you can approach to a more human experience in travel, because probably you will know some friends instead of empty places. Also, there are beautifull places, people, beaches and mountains to see without needing to went Rio for it.

The 'not so good' part is that you may face some distance from Rio. I live more than 1 hour (by bus) from center of Rio, with few or none public transport after 23h and by 'public transportation' i mean only bus.

The routine here home is very unstable and unpredictable. So, some times we are the entire week at home, and some times im traveling and ayaw.
That can also be great or not so good.

So, to best answer any request, i suggest anyone looking for couch to send you message at least 2 weeks in advance and with no more than 2 months in advance.

Its just a suggestion to easy the schedule here, no problem if you are about to arrive in Brasil or planning your next year travel =]

Note: There is a fundamental difference between a couchsurfing experience and a 'free hostel', even if you just stay briefly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Backpaking, i went to europe for 3 months and to northeast of Brazil for 2.

Hosting i received many unique people which i thank to knew and to share this mazing moment that a travel/backpacking is!

Joining this couchsurfing proposal, im open to learn any good thing that the people i meet can teach. And i offer to 'teach' some things that may be useful for them.

Things like: healty eating, breath/meditation technics, a bit of phylosophy, art, science etc. But its really just a bit compared to what is in the world, hope we can share our bits =]
