About Me

Hey, I’m Pegah but you call me Peggy ! 🌺
I’m originally from Iran and now living in Canada. I love traveling, meeting new people, and sharing stories. Bright colors, flowers, and laughter make me happy.

I’m easygoing, curious, and always up for discovering hidden gems in a city—whether it’s a cozy café, street art, or nature walks. I enjoy photography, painting, and good conversations that last until late at night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, Couchsurfing is all about kindness, connection, and cultural exchange.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎶 Music:
I love all kinds of music—you’ll find everything from Persian songs to English pop, Latin beats, and even a little bit of everything in between on my playlists. Music in many languages makes me feel connected to the world.

🎬 Movies:
I’m a big fan of dramas like Manchester by the Sea, and I also love the classics like Gone with the Wind and My Fair Lady. My guilty pleasure? Watching totally “garbage” reality shows 😅. And of course, I can never say no to a good superhero movie.

📚 Books:
I get obsessed with books that stay with you. The Book Thief is one of my all-time favorites, and I love the thought-provoking brilliance of Animal Farm. I even prefer The Silence of the Lambs as a book more than the movie—it’s so much deeper!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

“One of the most amazing things I’ve done is moving to a new country and starting my life all over again. It wasn’t easy, but it gave me strength, resilience, and the chance to grow. Another amazing part of my life was raising my niece when she was young—I’m proud of the love and support I could give her.”
