ABOUT ME

I'm a medical student in United States. I grew up in Taiwan for a while and moved to Houston. I did my undergrad education up in New York and now back to Texas for medical school. Because of the bicultural background, I love traveling and experiencing new things. I'd love to host people but I live in the middle of no where for my education...still, I really enjoy meeting people! Which is why I'm always traveling somewhere whenever I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. It's too short to not enjoy it fully! Live in the present moment

I love CS because it's a great way to meet people and experience life! Everyone has a story to tell. As much as I love to travel the world, it's quite impossible given the reality, so I'd love to meet as many people (and be friends with them!) as possible! I love listening to different travel adventures, life experiences, or just share laughters with each other. I'm a deep believer in conversation and by CS provides a great platform to have fascinating and sometimes surprising conversations with people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed with Anton in Paris, Jeremie in Vienna and Richard in Prague. When I travel in Asia, I usually either stay with friends or family.

I love EDM and classical music. I know they are completely different genres but hey, don't judge!
I also enjoy jazz and blues, especially live!
I love dancing and I'm learning salsa and bachata.

Some of the recent favorite movies of mine are: Darkest hour, Girls trip, Interstellar, Big Hero 6 and Inside out...

Volunteering at the free clinic at my medical school for the past 2 years has gotta be one of the best experience I've ever had.

Diving in Thailand and Indonesia were also very amazing! The marine life is beautiful and it's such a different experience to be underwater.

I can teach you how to bake. I can practice English and Chinese with you if you're learning.

I'm learning Spanish and I always want to learn more about different food!

One thing for sure, we will share laughs and great times together!
