ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!
I am currently working as a IT buyer in Taipei. I buy computer products for Mexican customers. It's quite boring I know but I get to use Spanish every day which is one of the perks beside getting paid. :p
You can say I'm an easygoing person who enjoy traveling a lot! My passion is to gather every bit the world can give me. Meet as many new people as I can, do crazy things to create memories and stories that will stay forever in my life. I hope you can be part of it. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2013, my friend Jess and I were planning our 2-month trip to Europe for our last summer vacation in uni. We figured why not do something we've never done before. That's how we started our CF journey. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with 2 hosts and both of them are awesome!
The first one was in Paris. My host Emy is one of the most interesting girls I've met. She not only shared her couch, she shared some of her favorite places in Paris with us. We can walk and talk all day and never got bored. We shared our stories and secrets. Though we only spent 1 week together, she is the kind of girl who you can be friend with forever. :)
My second CF experience was in Barcelona. At first Manel politely rejected our request because he was going to Berlin. But after few days of chatting online, he decided to let us stay in his place regardless of his presence. After his trip, we shared 3 happy days together. We cooked, we drank, we ate and we did all kind of fun stuffs with him. That was my best time in Barcelona. :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies- STAR WARS! I'm 100 % sci-fi movies geek. I love everything about space. Basically I watch any kinds of movies except horrors (I can be scared easily). And I love love love Jim Carrey! The Truman show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are my all time fav. :)

Music- Alternative rock. My favorite band is Arctic Monkeys and favorite singer is Amy Winehouse. Weird combination but why not?

Books- I love Haruki Murakami. Just finished Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Highly recommended!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Chinese (mandarin) is my mother tongue so I can help anyone with their Chinese. I'm currently learning Spanish and French. And I also like to learn how to cook properly. I was a barista for almost 2 years so if you want to learn how to make good coffee feel free to pick my brain!
