Love to travel and learn about other cultures, languages and lifestyles. Love hosting people in Australia. Done it a few times with Japanese friends. People tell me that I'm a friendly person and I do like to believe that. Pretty easy going and relaxed person. Respect other people's things, rules, opinions etc....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS to meet people and get to know places in different ways to a normal tourist and of to save money. It has been one of the best things about my travels. I used to host people from around the world before joining CS. I do know how hard it gets travelling around and it's great to have a helping hand. I hope to help people enjoy Adelaide more than what they expect little Adelaide to be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed only in Europe on couch surfing but I have surfed other peoples' places prior to joining. I think it's the best thing a traveller could do. The best way to meet people and the only way to see a country. Loved it love it and LOVE it!

Interests

I like martial arts. I have practised kick-boxing/karate for 5 years. Just like to meet people from all back grounds and types. Mainly really hang out with my friends in cafes and go for walks along the beach. I am also a bit of a fitness freak, so I love any kind of sport as long as it's not a team sport. I don't have a lot of hand eye coordination.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a book reader, but when I do read, its ususally biographies or based on a true story. I listen to all music, but I love dancing to Hip Hop, R'n'B, salsa. For listening, depends on mood but I really enjoy rock and soft rock, e.g. nirvana, system of a down, red hot chilli peppers, the killers, cold play etc.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

WOW, I guess living in Japan for a year as a student was an eye opener and also the catalyst for my thirst to travel. Made me appreciate life a lot more. Another would've been being an Auntie to 3 lovely nieces and nephew. Made me more responsible (lived with 2 of them for 1 year when they were only babies). Doing volunteer work in an orphanage in Bolivia, and teaching in Japan, very satisfying work. Actually felt like I was doing something helpful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would personally like to learn more about the custom, culture, life style and the language. That's something that I enjoy most about my travel and experiences. It's also really important to respect each other and respect the personal space to live/stay in harmony.
