About Me

Hello CS family!

I have been living in Istanbul for 13 years. I studied Politics and International Relations and worked as an auditor in a start-up company based in Istanbul. Recently, I left my job to explore myself and dedicate more time to my passion: yoga and Pilates. I now work as a freelancer, teaching Hatha Yoga, Face Yoga and leading both group and private Pilates classes in various studios across the city.

I am a seeker of experiences that stir the soul—whether through the mindful flow of yoga, the rhythm of Pilates, or the unexpected magic of a new city corner. I enjoy sports, singing, reading, traveling, and discovering hidden culinary gems in every city. As a nature lover, long walks, trekking, and moments immersed in the outdoors bring me joy.

In my spare time, I dive into books and podcasts on human rights, LGBTI+ activism, environmentalism, feminism, physiology, meditation, and self-awareness. Traveling solo has been a path of self-discovery for me, and Couchsurfing is the perfect companion to make my journeys not just memorable, but full of genuine connection.
I bring calm, observant energy wherever I go and treasure meaningful conversations, shared stories, and laughter that lingers. If our paths cross, I look forward to exploring hidden corners, exchanging stories, and leaving the world a little more enchanted than we found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran 15 km across the Bosphorus Bridge, crossing from Asia to Europe—feeling the city beneath my feet and the world open ahead.

After 10 years in my career, I finally left it behind to make space for my true passions—embracing the journey, no matter the challenges.

I watched the sun set from the summit of Mount Nemrut, feeling the sky and history merge in a breathtaking moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love diving into conversations about cultures, literature, psychology, and languages. Tasting different foods excites me, and I am always open to new flavors—I also truly enjoy cooking!
I can guide you to the best hidden spots in Istanbul to eat, relax, and soak in the city like a local. I’m equally passionate about all kinds of outdoor adventures, from long walks to active sports, embracing every moment along the way.
