ABOUT ME

What can you say about yourself? Say too much; you're egotistical. Not enough and you're dark and a little creepy.

I am a simple guy who's seen the world but not enough of his own country. I've lived in China, sailed the islands of the South Pacific, and prayed at the Wailing Wall. And yet I've never been west of Wyoming, never seen the Atlantic. So summer of 2013 I am becoming a wanderer yet again and seeing this land I'm a part off.

PHILOSOPHY

Hahahaha a year ago I could have written this in my sleep. To be honest I don't know why I live anymore. I don't hate life, quite the opposite, I like me life and living it; but WHY am I living......I don't know. Kinda morose and poinent to put out to total stangers but eh, what the hell.

I believe that love is stronger than anything on earth. I suppose you might say I live for hope. Hope that I'm right. Hope that love will bring me home. "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things."

Music, particularly folk. Nature, gardening, building anything, woodworking, and I desperately want to find someone who does glass blowing. How incredible would that be?!?

Music, Movies, and Books

Best love book for dudes The Black Rose by Thomas B. Costain. That and Les Miserables are my favorite all time books. 1984 is a must read as well as Animal Farm for political and sociological theory. History books are always solid since the past repeats itself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving was the biggest rush. Living in China the biggest adaptation. Loving a woman with my entire being the most rewarding. Losing her the most devistating. At 31 I have lived a full and happy life, and there are still many years ahead. We'll see what they bring.
