I love meeting new people, and I find it most interesting to meet people who belong to places I don't -yet.
I believe couchsurfing is the best way to encounter and get to know genuine and interesting people wherever you go in the world. Besides, getting close to the culture of your local host is something you will never obtain in a backpacker's hostel.

Also any recommendation given by a local is worth a lot more than any recommandation you can find in a tourist book

"The most beautiful things in life are free." Sounds about right with the crazy idea of couchsurfing: The encounter of the generous and curious mind of a host and the excited and open mind of a travelling guest, both longing to share with / learn about their new friend.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Volunteering at Heaven Hill, a primary school in a rural region of Nepal was one of the best things I've ever done. Helping in a project that aims to give a smile and a future to some of the poorest kids of one of the poorest countries of the world was very rewarding. I feel very grateful to have lived such an incredible experience and I am looking forward to get involved in other great purpose projects such as this one.
