About Me
Hi there! I am Italian, 26, and I currently work in events management in London. Moving to Chamonix soon as I am a keen skier and would love to try a career in ski events. I have lived in many countries and hope for many more to come! I am a language nerd and a keen writer. Also carry a travel guitar wherever I go
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel a lot and I am always looking for ways to do it in the most interesting and enriching ways. Couchsurfing is perfect for someone like me who is adaptable, open minded and easygoing!
Interests
Language is my great passion and I am always improving my language skills. I speak perfect English and French and I am working on my Russian skills. I love traveling and I have visited many European countries. I have also lived abroad for several years, in Wilson, NY, in Tallinn, in the french Alps, in Oxford and London. I enjoy living in diverse environments and talking to people who have completely different life experiences. I play the guitar, the piano and I sing a bit. I love reading and writing, especially in rhymes, I did several sports on competitive level and I am pretty good at circus stuff too - random, I know

Music, Movies, and Books
In the past years I have discovered folk and acoustic music (Mumford and Sons style) and I adore it, but I like indie and pop music as well. I'm not an expert in movies but I always try keep myself updated on old and new "must-see". Advice from experts in the field is always appreciated.
During my Bachelor's studies I have focused a lot on foreign literature (mostly French and Russian). Some of the latest books I've read: Anna Karenina, Crime and Punishment, the Count of Montecristo. Sometimes I realize I'm starting to forget my own language and I choose some Italian classics, too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A Circus camp in Iceland in 2013, right after my graduation. I needed to run away and free my mind, so I found a volunteer camp and left for this breathtaking land, where I met cool people and had a wonderful time learning how to juggle and ride a monocycle.
I also just quit my permanent job in London to go back to the french Alps as a freelance. That was an incredible thing indeed!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love communicating and sharing stories, I have a lot of them to tell. But I am also a great listener, I get fascinated by other people's experiences and I get inspiration from them. I can tell you about Italy, my travels, I can teach you how to cook a good pasta, give you Italian language lessons, play the guitar and sing with you;) I think the people we meet every single day are an incredible source of enrichment, and that's the spirit I want to live my couch surfing experience with!
