Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

art, science, history and the humanities. I'll be on my way to Charleston for the national conference of the Alliance of Artists Communities. I will be there for my work with Land Heritage Institute (LHI), 1200 acres of open space along the Medina River on the south side of San Antonio under development as a land museum. There I direct the LHI Art-Sci Projects including residencies and symposia for artists, scientists and technologists working in conjunction with the land.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped start the Conjunto Heritage Taller, a community-based school for students of ALL ages keeping Conjunto music traditions alive in the streets and homes of San Antonio, TX
