I've been a gypsy between NYC, LA, Europe and various locations in the US for shorter stints. In 2003 I bought an old house in upstate NY on the Hudson and have been restoring it ever since.
I love gardening, cooking, repairing plaster, brick and whatever needs me. My motto is "it's not rocket science" which means I like to figure out how to do it myself.
Last year my sister and I spent a month in France exploring Provence.
