ABOUT ME

For the third time in the last three years I have moved across the vast country of the US. I now find myself back in a big city in San Francisco.

PHILOSOPHY

Plants get their energy from the sun. I get my energy from people.

As important as pursuing my career is, I try to have as much fun in the process, which includes meeting as many interesting people as possible. Boring is the biggest insult anyone could give me, so I try to stay clear of that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attended a few CS events in NYC and hosted a couple of lovely chaps from England in Bakersfield before being hosted in Copenhagen. I've now become more active since coming to San Francisco, hosting people from all across the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Gave a brief tour of NYC to Maria from Paris. Hosted a couple of visiting Brits, who were in Bakersfield to see Blink 182...good times. I surfed with a friend in Copenhagen in the summer of 2011 and was treated magnificently by Mads, who showed us a good night out on the town and provided a couple of great meals. It was nice to finally surf after all of this time. I've been hosting more often now in San Francisco.

Music: I miss the music from the 90s, but also wish I had grown up in the 60s and 70s...how good was music back then?

TV: Seinfeld, House, How I Met Your Mother, Boston Public, Dirty Sexy Money, Simpsons, Family Guy, Friends, Glee, Modern Family and yes, Gossip Girl

Seeing it go straight from dusk to dawn in Reykjavik was quite intriguing.

Well, I can teach people how to say "1,2,3 drink!" in about 15 different languages...And I'd be very excited to teach you the oh-so-fun Emperor's New Groove Drinking Game. Besides that, I could help you with your guitar skills and talk for hours about the NHL and hockey.
