About Me
⚠️NOTE: I am not interested in dating or romantic encounters as I am in a committed relationship. Let's keep the couchsurfing spirit friendly and platonic.
Hey, Ruby here.
I’m a research assistant in the medical field and a big history and culture enthusiast. I'm here because I'm inspired to explore more by connecting with locals through their stories and backgrounds. I’m naturally curious and open-minded, and I love meaningful conversations. Whether I’m learning about someone’s journey or sharing my own, connecting with people always brings me joy.
If you visit Taiwan, I’d love to introduce my hometown 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Connecting with people who live outside my comfort zone inspires me. These interactions change the way I see my country and encourage me to think differently.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I speak three different Chinese, including Mandarin, Hokkien, and a bit of Cantonese (I can understand but not speak fluently). If you're interested in it, I'm glad to connect through it! I'm also learning French, just as a beginner, and I often mix up English pronunciation. If you could teach me more, that would be incredible!
Learning a language is my new program this year. I feel like language behind the culture is precious. Don't hesitate to teach me any idiom, slang, or anything from your city or country!
I could cook some TWese food, though I'm not a cooking lover.
