After traveling for a year and a half I am back home and focusing on things that require me to be stationary for a bit. I love to travel and would like to eventually make my way around the world. I recently returned from backpacking Australia and South East Asia. I am avid reader and writer, and can usually be found with a book in my bag and a camera over my shoulder. I've met some wonderful people along my travels and hope to meet some more. I love learning about people, movies, music, art, delicious food, and wine. I recently got into rock climbing and want to eventually get good enough to climb some amazing mountains. I prefer mountains and nature to cities, but I'm always up for an adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a strong believer that you get what you put into the world. If you are open minded and open to new things and adventures many amazing opportunities will open up to you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even though I've been a member of CS since 2010, I didnt really start using it regularly until I went to Australia. I've met such wonderful people and am looking forward to paying it forward now that I'm no longer traveling.

I did a week long hike in Tasmania called The Overland Track. It was beautiful and would recommend it to everyone.

I've been to Burning Man twice and miss it every summer I don't get to experience it again. I know for a fact I'll be back again. It's a life changing place.
