Hi there ✨ My name is Penny. Currently, i am doing my traveling in South Island New Zealand. I’ll be going to Australia next and super excited about connecting and meeting new people!

I decided to quit my job and take this break to experience life to the fullest, giving myself time to heal, breathing into the spaces of newness. During my last solo trip, i did my first couchsurfing. I really enjoy spending time with my host, going out, exploring, trying new foods, hiking, and meeting amazing people along the way. I was really thankful to my couchsurfing hosts in Europe that show me around local places and foods in such a short time. I’ve learned alot about different foods and culture. ✨

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To immerse myself in the culture of local people, getting to know the place better. I prefer to interact with the locals, having meal together, create memories instead of just staying at hotel and walk around at tourist attraction spots.

Besides, I really love to meet amazing people from different background, places, sharing some interesting stories and experiences in life as sometimes the answer can be amazing and that you may never thought of!

It will be amazing to get hosted by good people and spend some quality time together.

Step out from my comfort zone and start traveling alone in New Zealand, Europe, and Australia! Great experience that I would love to do again in many other countries meeting like minded people around the world 🌎✨

I can teach my native language such as Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia or English. I can really share anything I know.

I can learn to adapt myself into the local culture and broaden my perspectives.

Its always fun to share stories and experiences. I would be very happy to share everything i know about coffee as i have deep passion in coffees and hiking. Oh and foods too ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’d be happy to cook some of my local cuisine if you wish to have a try. I'm not expert in cooking but I still can make some basic Asian cruisine. I can call myself coffee expert so I’ll definitely make some coffee (i bring with me) for you if you drink coffee. Besides, I'm also a great conversationalist so don't worry about awkward silence because I'm always prepared with my next question.
