ABOUT ME

We are an Australian couple who enjoying travelling the world and seeing how all types roam this earth. Our 'Europe trip' was a most adventurous trip yet where we took off for 6 months leaving the norm behind and had such an amazing time meeting some unforgettable people and doing some unforgettable things. We are pretty adventurist enjoying things like getting involved in giant tomato throwing festivals in Spain, and hot air ballooning in Turkey. We also enjoying hiking, fishing, mud fights and getting in tune with nature, but also lazing about on a beach or in our trackies and ugg boots, cuddled up to a fire. Anything and everything.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is the only thing that you buy that makes you richer. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones that you did do. No regrets.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been hosting couch surfers from around the world, and also traveled being hosted by some amazing people, and we have had so much fun. We have met some great people, and shared lots of experiences.

We live a fairly laid back lifestyle, enjoying the simple things in life, but also need adventure in our life to spice things up. We love seeing where the world will take us. We enjoy the outdoors, and a good night for us is sitting our the back cooking a barbecue and having a few beers with friends and family.

We love most types of music. Some of our favourite bands are Rise against, Strung out and Rufio. Also enjoy some mexican beats and reggae. Also love artist who put deeper meanings in their songs. A fav songs is by Flobots called 'Handlebars', which an Albanian introduced us to during our travels. Check it out and watch film clip.

-Hot air ballooning in Kapadokya, Turkey
-La Tomatina, Spain
-Water and Wine festival, Spain
-Water rafting and mud bath/ fight, Saklikent, Turkey
-Stayed in a treehouse , Saklikent, Turkey
-Cruised the Mediterranean on an old traditional Turkish yacht
-Dog sledding tour in Kiruna, Northern Sweden
-Being in -35 degrees with snow up to our waist in Sweden
-Alpine Route, Japan
-Watching the Aurora Borealis dance above us in the skies, Fairbanks, Alaska
-Snow mobilling and experiencing a hot sauna before rolling in the freezing snow, Fairbanks, Alaska
