About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting into Grad School, writing a book, traveling the world, telling a story at a Moth slam....

ABOUT ME

I love traveling and took a trip with my long term girlfriend through Europe after we graduate from St. John's College, if your interested you can read our travel blog at http://peripateticandenthusiast.blogspot.com/
OR see our helpX profile from our travels at

I like people, I like meeting new people, going out to events and having a good time. I also enjoy a night at home watching old movies, discussing life, or playing board games. I enjoy comedy shows, most music, and I am always looking for a new book to read. I am currently living with my girlfriend and our two cats, applying to graduate programs and taking post-bac classes while working part time.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is meant to be enjoyed and experienced, I also like to learn and think about things on the way.

Interests

I enjoy baking, old movies, wine, cooking, origami, riding my bike, going to museums (especially natural history and art museums. Some of my fondest memories are the British Museum in London and the first time I went to the MET in New York), writing, and story telling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 15 my family and I moved to Juneau, Alaska. The first summer we spent there I was very alone and didn't know anyone, but I remember staying up late watching the sun set and then rise ( in the middle of summer darkness lasted about 4-5 hours) one night. The sunlight coming over the bay towards Douglas Island where we lived is an image I'll never forget. The sun rose over the mountains and left the town in shadows, slowly sweeping across the water and reflecting onto the buildings in vibrant pink and orange colors.
The next most awe inspiring thing I can think of was my first day in Venice. Wading through the flooded canals up too my knees to get to our hostel, getting lost in the streets, real Italian delicious pizza and the Basilica. It was great, I loved every moment.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States
