One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was working at the field I met a city called Nova Remanso. It was one of the cities that were flooded by the dam the river São Francisco (Bahia, Brazil). The town's main street just ends up in water. And on the other side you can see a green wall, because the native vegetation has taken over the area!
I was so well attended in establishments in California that I was embarrassed by the care that is offered in Brazil (my country). Only in São Roque (São Paulo, Brazil) had the same good service for the same honest price.
The state of Piaui (Brazil) has several national parks, with wonderfull things like hieroglyphics and places to jump from glider. I know that within my country there are other places as interesting, but unfortunately that is little known and when I travel (alone, backpacking), I only have foreigners ariund me, not Brazilian.
