About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel and feel it :)

ABOUT ME

When it comes to describing myself I'm totally confused. I can't find proper words that can encircle my character. I know what I like, but what I'm like...hmm :) I hope by reading my profile you'll be able to get just a pinch of my character. As for the rest - you just have to meet me in person.

PHILOSOPHY

Grasp each moment of your life and have a lesson of it.
Make mistakes. You're just a human.
Smile! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've done surfing only with friends who have CS. My city isn't that much visited by tourists, which is sad of course, because I love it and recommend everyone to see it :) plus I don't have any couches available which I hope will change soon as I plan to move to a new apartment :) after that I'll be able to host people through CS :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

About me traveling... Well, I started about twelve years ago when I was 13. But I guess only when discovered CS about a year ago I got to know what the whole idea of traveling is. To the full. It's not about just visiting places, getting to know the history of monumental things. Because places are... monumental. They cannot and will not move. And people? People give life, make character, let our destinations be one of a kind. CS helped me understand that. No matter how beautiful and breathtaking pictures and memories you can bring from your trip it's all nothing comparing to people you've met. Memories about fantastic time spent among amazing people are the ones that last forever. Memories about buildings, monumets etc etc - they just get blurred and one day could disappear.

Turkey - that's how it all started. Only then I travelled with friends who have CS. Visited Karamanmaras, Izmir, Selcuk, Istanbul.

Italy - from Naples, through Rome, Pisa, Florence and Cesena - two gorgeous and unforgettable weeks

Poland - once in Gdynia, during Open'er Festival 2010

Interests

So, when it comes to 'likes' there are:
Travel - helps me breathe out all bad thoughts

Dancing - a fantastic way to relax! I just love to salsa!!

Photography

Cooking & eating - I love Polish, Turkish and Italian Kitchen - but I'm very eager to try new dishes in every country I visit, so please don't hesitate to offer me a meal :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Totally hate horror films. Don't even dare proposing me to watch them with you ;)

Books: I, Claudius.

Music - Adele, Janelle Monae, Damien Rice, The Smiths, Sade, Kings of Leon, Peter Gabriel, Beyonce, Shakira, used to play guitar and piano, I like to sing though I'm not that gifted... so be careful :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being an Erasmus student in Turkey. I got to meet fantastic people, visit amazing places and become a part of Erasmus community which totally rocks! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't expect too much of CS. I mean in a material way. If that just go to a hotel!
CS friendships can last a lifetime.
