ABOUT ME
I only work 80 % in order to be able to live more, read more and share dinners with friends more often. I work at a senior high school not far from where I live, which is the area called the Western Harbour (Västra hamnen) in Malmö. I love to bike, run and I do not own a car nor do I fly a lot, since I'm concerned about the climate changes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host the Regular CS Meetings in Malmö. Now I only host at home, but I'm not the guiding type. I enjoy cooking together and then share thoughts and impressions over dinner. I have CouchSurfed my last trips abroad, and that made the whole difference.

Interests

When I invite friends of mine, who do not know each other, to Friday Soup with Company. And sometime they bring friends that I've never met and we get like Facebook but in real life.
Running 6 km and then a dip in the ocean.
My work as a teacher is very rewarding. I teach English, Swedish and rhetoric at senior high school.
When listening to my daughter imitating my out-of-tune singing, it's difficult to stop laughing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last trip to Egypt. People who make less than 5 % of my salary and still so eager to give and share and go out of the way to make sure that their guest had a wonderful time.

Living in New York with the constant feeling that a new adventure might be around the next corner.

It was pretty awesome when I picked up my passport at The Lost and Found department at Karachi airport, after having felt like a paperless person for a week.
