À propos de moi

Hi there ! I'm a french traveller and humanitarian worker. I just finished a mission in beautiful Afghanistan and want to travel a bit to enjoy having some freedom again! I just moved to Jordan and spending my time exploring the country. I am passionate about the Middle East, trying to learn Arabic (for a few years now) , Turkish (with not so much success so far), and some Kurdish.

I love visiting new cities, going for a hike , or simply just walking around. As a former History student, I always want to learn about the history of the places I go to. Meeting people is usually the best way to do that (and to know about local food as well obviously).

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I want to meet people and learn about them, their culture, their life. Travelling has always enabled me to meet people with different life experiences and who had a lot to tell.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Travelling by bus in South Eastern Turkey, visiting amazing cities like Mardin, Diyarbakir, Antakya or Midyat.
10 days of wild camping in Scotland in the Loch Lomond, on the Isle of Skye and around Fort William (and zero rain for ten days)
And of course being priviledged enough to live in Afghanistan for a year (I'm very happy to tell you all about it)

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

The good thing about being a humanitarian worker, is that you always have some funny stories to tell (some of them involving high ranked Taliban officials being terrified of our cute office cat).
