About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To fill my experience account to maximum. But I am very selective with the experiences I want to experience, of course. Only fun and interesting experiences are welcome.
ABOUT ME
I studied human geography at the university of Lund, Sweden, and finally got a job as a "planning officer", a beurocrat, at the regional office of Västernorrland (up north in Sweden where the summer's short and the winter's cold).
I think my friend would describe me as a person who really want to dig into things to try to understand them. This is why I enjoy geography so much. I can go anywhere and use my uni-studies to try to create a, sometimes not so clever, theory of why the place is used the way it is. I like to observe places, just to sit on a bench eating a sandwich or so, and just look at people and take in that specific place.
PHILOSOPHY
My father presents himself being a philosofic person, therefor I need some more time before I write anything here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first found out about this site a couple of years ago bvut didnt pay any attention to it at first. Then I tried to use the summer 09, but it didnt work out. I think mainly cause my presentation was so louse and that I was a rookie.
Now Im still a rookie but Im trying to participate in the Lund and Malmö group activities, building me a good presentation.
And of course howing that my couch is free top use as much as possible!
Interests
I like talking and Im interesting in other peoples lifes. Not so much a party animal and I dont know much about those kinds of things happening in my neigbourhood. But I like the history of the enviroment Im living and I would be happy to guide you through the city Im situated in. I often very quickly finds out the sites history and some architectural influences that have passed thru. So right now, Im your perfect Härnösand, if you dont take every word Im saying as too serious. Thus another interest of mine is to make up stories along the way.
Otherwise Im interesting in music and maps...I love maps

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the strangest things I've seen was the central station in Belgrade. I was almost late for my train and came in stressed as I where and asked a tired looking police for which train that depratured for Skopje. I couldn't read cyrilic that good and there where three trains waiting on their platforms. The police officers just pointed at one of the trains and I made a run for it. Jumped in, found a cabin and asked the passengers "Skopje" - No, Budapest, was the answer. I jumped of, made my way thru the crowd of people up the next train "Skopje??" -No, Zagreb. Shitshitshit..of the train, down the platform, wrestling my way thru and over all the peoples bags and suitcases up the last train, now 5min late. "Skopje?" YES! I sat down taking some deep breaths and then nothing happened for a long time. The train was supposed to departure at 22.00 and now, 15 minutes past it was still standing on the platform. For a swede like me this was unbelievable. In Sweden they lock the doors at the minute before the train is supposed to departure meaning you can be standing outside trying to get in and miss it. After a while the train started to slowly roll away and one of the conductors where hanging out of the door smoking when a older man some platforms away started to make a run for the train, screaming. Down the tracks up the platform and down the tracks again and up on our platform. The smoking conductor looked back, blow his whistle and the entire train stopped. He jumped of the train, yelled at the old man for being so late and next time the train would leave on time and he would miss it (I think he yelled something like that by the look of him). He let the man onboard and the train started moving again.
Back in my cabin I fell quickly fell asleep after being exhausted and woke up early in the morning at the boarder to Macedonia. On the table in the cabin where my passport and my interrail-ticket. On the opposite bench where a family smiling at me. On really bad english they explained that the conductor had been in the cabin asking for my ticket but he could wake me up so they had gone through my pockets for tickets and passport. After all the scary things i had heard from traveling in the Balkan I never witnessed any of it. Just smiling, friendly people. Amazing countries
