Remember the old days? When people used wagons and just stopped in on strangers and the welcome was immense? I am about bringing back some of that humanity and personal connection.

ABOUT ME

I am a funloving hippie at heart I suppose. I love meeting and helping people as well as making pen-pals and friends that eventually I can go to visit. I happen to love to cook for people given that I have time and with others, like a big family. I love people coming to my house to hang out.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to be a positive influence, a contribution to this planet not a "taker" but a "giver." I want to spread myself around the world either by my travels or by the people I have met and their travels. I believe we are all here to help one another not take advantage of another. "It takes all kinds."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the time when all is quiet and with a bottle of wine we all sit around and talk about who we are and what we think, feel, or how we relate to others. I love people who are kind, generous, sharing and caring. I don't want what you have but I would give you the shirt off of my back so be courteous and respectful of me and my home and share yourself in whatever way that is comfortable for you

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once crashed on someone's couch after drinking Russians-there wasn't any milk for a white russian. I played the role of Old Faithful on the couch and ended up washing my hair in the kitchen sink. I think I was 18.
