About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to engage with the multitudes of interesting people here
ABOUT ME
Raised in Ann Arbor and Detroit, Michigan. I was lucky to attend some alternative schools that helped me cultivate a sense of questioning and art. I love listening, thinking and talking about music, particularly music originating from Africa. I make songs, sometimes serious, sometimes too serious and sometimes just plain ridiculous. I spend lots of time analyzing issues of Race, Class and Gender. I'm a kind and compassionate person who always finds the good in people.
PHILOSOPHY
YES,
dialectical materialism might help you figure that problem out, ya know?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I have moved to Seattle CouchSurfers have been some of the nicest and most open people I've met. I love the CoachSurfing concept and love the exchanges it fosters. A big supporter.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Known lots of folks over the years who have surfed. Lived in a house that hosted many a surfer. Done a touch of surfing. :-)
Interests
I love getting acupuncture and figuring out basic secrets about being healthy. I am obsessed with solving issues of economic inequality and figuring out systems for living sustainably on the planet and sharing the benefits of gains in productivity.
I love thinking about problems through an interdisciplinary vantage point. I love laughing and talking and dancing and relishing in people and the spender of living. I love interviewing artists and intellectuals and hope to one day have a radio show.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen Savion Glover perform. Sat 5 feet from, watching Lou Donaldson and Lonnie Liston Smith play together. Saw Steven Lacey play. That's more than one but all experiences like that really evoke the same quality for me.
