ABOUT ME

Hello everyone, my name is Petal.
Petal is the English word for the colorful part of a flower. You can say that my family is into nature and being in a relaxing state of mind. I enjoy having fun if it means doing spontaneous events or just taking it easy. It doesn't take much to make me happy as long as I stay true to myself.

My birth place is Guyana, South America. It is a small country in South America. It gets really hot there and consist of a lot of rain showers year round. Most of my family lives there but, I moved shortly after turning 5 years old to move to the United States.

In the United States, I live in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania, is mainly a green and wood like state. A lot of people enjoy hunting deers,ducks,squirrels for sport and to eat. It is a nice state to live in but, I would like to move shortly after I graduate from college.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Any free time I have to travel to other countries, I would like to take advantage of couch surfing so I can get to meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I couch surfed one time in Germany. It was with a bunch of college students and they were really nice. I had alot of fun and really want to meet more people to couch surf and just enjoy their culture while traveling around.

My favorite book series is called: Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Since I am a college student now experiences a new chapter in my life, I am able to take on new things. I find it amazing to study abroad to another country and to explore Europe. It is so abstract to America, that is why I find any little thing I learn to be fascinating mainly because I am a curious individual, who wants to learn anything and everything about Europe.

Teach- Since most people view America through the media that portrays somewhat bias opinion of the American culture, you may have the misunderstanding on certain American ways. I can answer any of your questions about things Americans do.

Learn- Anything you do naturally, I can learn from. I am open to learning anything about others or about their culture as a whole.

Share- The experiences and memories will be a great way to share the moments of couch surfing with others.
