I'm currently living in Sao Paulo, teaching English, working on art, and working on an IT related project as well.

I'm a very polite person who is genuinely good natured, and I like meeting/hanging out with people who are the same.

My impetus for joining couch-surfing right now has to do with wanting to see more of this amazing country called Brazil!

Being stuck inside of Sao Paulo city the whole time is not the way to do it!

Also, it seems like a really nice community of people, so I think that this is going to lead to some good experiences.

I like a wide variety of music.

Devo is probably my favourite, single band.

I also like Lana Del Rey, and aggressive music like Marilyn Manson as well.

Jazz is wonderful, as is the blues, and here in Brazil I have learned that "Samba de raízes" is something that I like a lot (as well as foro).

I also like some of the older MPB, such as Rita Lee, or even some Roberto Carlos songs, but I also like old "Brazilian Funk"!

The books that I have read that have really stuck with me tend to be the distopic novels like "1984" or "Brave New World".

Some of my favourite movies are ridiculous comedies like "Zoolander" or "The Big Lebowski".
