I did a degree in Business Information Systems and then worked for 2 years as a software analyst of sorts.

But I soon grew weary of the 9-5 working life and so in July 2014 I flew to Kuala Lumpur and have been travelling ever since...long may it continue!

I'm currently backpacking for an indefinite period of time. There are many times when I feel like staying in hostels keeps you firmly locked into the tourist traps and away from true local experiences. So I would love to have a little more authentic local experiences with the help of couch surfing!

Also, I've been lucky enough to meet some great people on my travels. At times I've visited their home countries and they have shown me a great time there. I would love to do the same for people when I return to my home in Ireland.
