About Me

Just finished a decade working at Apple in the Mac division.

As great as that experience was, I can't help heed the call to hit the road for a while, visiting friends and family as I travel around the United States.

Just a heads up, I'm traveling in a Subaru Impreza sedan (named Vera) towing a Suzuki V-Strom (named Launchpad) as you'll see in the photos.
That setup needs about 2 car length's worth of curb space.

Since I'm brand new to couchsurfing, I have no references yet but I can certainly provide references upon request.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I may use hotels or even Airbnb but if given the chance, I'd rather meet cool people when I'm in a place where I don't have friends or family.

I met a young man who had recently gone from Pennsylvania to California via Couchsurfing.com. His stories and glowing recommendations had me sold in a minute.

I'm particularly looking forward to some fun conversations, helping out hosts with any technical problems/questions and/or baking something for them.

Music, Movies, and Books

That's a great question to discuss in person. :)
To be continued …

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I surprised my Dad with a motorcycle so we could ride together to Canada for his 60th birthday.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm positive I'll teach, learn and share several things in person.

For example:
Baking soda spreads your baked good.
Baking powder puffs up your baked good (upward).

Consistently best podcast I've heard: 99% Invisible
