To travel as much of the world as possible and meet lots of lovely and interesting people.

ABOUT ME

Married with 4 grown up children. We love to watch rugby, make homebrew beer, go fishing and spend time with family and friends.
We have done a bit of travelling and wish to travel some more.
Presently we are working on a motorhome so that we can travel around the North Island of New Zealand.
We love to meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

To live a positive life, and get rid of the negatives in life in other people. To be open minded and empathetic towards other people and their circumstances and non-judgemental. To "pay it forward".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are looking forward to people coming to stay with our family in Marlborough, New Zealand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In July of 2012 we travelled to Alaska where we had our first couch surfing experience as a surfer rather than a host - our host was a very generous host both with his time and also the new foods (meat) we got to experience. We also travelled to Canada and the lower 48 where we met alot of new people whom we introduced to the couch surfing concept.
In 2010 we stayed with some of our family in Youth Hostels in the USA and Canada and China, where we enjoyed interacting with people of all ages from all over the world.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

In October 2014 we travelled to the Bahamas where we swam with pigs! This was an amazing adventure on our bucket list.
